Copyright for creators

You own what you make. You do not own the song, the movie, or the game footage just because you talked over it. When you are unsure, do not upload it.

Separate your work from everyone else’s

Your commentary can be yours while the clip under it belongs to someone else. That is why reactions, compilations, and "fair use" arguments get claimed and sometimes removed. A claim is not always a strike, and a strike is not a debate you will win in the comments.

Use music you licensed, game captures the publisher allows, and clips you have rights to. Read the DMCA page on StreamersTip if someone is using your work or you received a notice. Counter-notices are a legal step, not a vibe. Get advice before you file one.

Not professional advice

This is creator education. It is not legal, tax, or financial advice. Where you live changes the answer. Take contracts, companies, and deductions to a professional who works with creators.

Frequently asked questions

If I credit them, am I fine?

Credit is polite. It is not permission. Permission is a license or a law that actually covers what you did.
