Protect your content

Protect the work by keeping masters, watermarking only when it helps, and knowing how to file a takedown. A giant logo on every frame mostly annoys viewers.

Keep the original, watch for copies

Export a clean master and a public file. If someone reuploads you, the platform’s copyright tools or a DMCA notice are the formal paths. Document the original URL and the date. Do not start a harassment campaign as your legal strategy.

A small, late bug is enough if you are worried about clean rips. For most creators, the better protection is posting often enough that a copy is obviously behind, plus the copyright lesson so you are not the one copying.

Frequently asked questions

Should I copyright register everything?

Registration rules depend on the country. In some places it matters a lot if you ever sue. Ask a lawyer when the content is valuable enough to fight over. Saving the file with a date is the everyday step.
