Content pillars

Three to five pillars are the subjects you are willing to repeat. They keep a feed coherent without forcing every post to be the same video.

Evergreen

Pillars are shelves, not a content prison

A pillar is a repeating theme: setup teardowns, viewer questions, a weekly game, behind the scenes of a series. If you cannot name five video ideas under a pillar, it is a topic you like, not a pillar you can run.

Most creators do well with three. Five is the ceiling before the feed looks like a group chat. One pillar should be the thing you want to be known for. The others support it.

  • Name each pillar in two or three words.
  • Write five titles under each before you publish any.
  • Check last month: if a pillar got zero posts, cut it or schedule it.
  • Save the plan in the StreamersTip planner so the week is not a mood.

Frequently asked questions

Can a trend be a pillar?

No. A trend is a guest. Your pillars should still make sense when that sound is gone.
